Resumo: Starting from a theoretical and methodological tripod formed through the intersections of psychosociology, narrative and  hermeneutics, we seek to debate the main concepts that have provided the theoretical and conceptual threads for the outlining of the research that based the field work composed from dam builders narratives. Owing to the narrative-interview, as a technique for the production of discourses, and the psychosociology in dialogue with basics of hermeneutics, it was possible to provide ways to resize the researcher-researched relationship and principles of transdisciplinarity – which allowed cohesive accounts for the production of scientific knowledge about the present object of study. This profitable combination admittedly enables the apprehension of the particularities of this singular and collective phenomenon, without dispensing the subjectivity of these workers who live these stories narrated in a conjuncture. However, as it contains new elements, this field invites other researchers to explore the broad spectrum that this tripod holds.

However, as it contains new elements, this field invites other researchers to explore the broad spectrum that this tripod holds.Ao partir de um tripé teórico-metodológico constituído nas intersecções da psicossociologia, da narrativa e da hermenêutica, busca-se debater os conceitos norteadores que forneceram os fios teórico-conceituais para a tessitura do desenho de pesquisa que referenciou o trabalho de campo realizado com narrativas de barrageiros. Com a entrevista-narrativa, como técnica para a produção de narrativas, e a psicossociologia em diálogo com fundamentos da hermenêutica, foi possível conferir meios para que houvesse um redimensionamento da relação pesquisador-pesquisado e fundamentos para a transdisciplinaridade – o que permitiu promover tramas coesas para a produção do conhecimento científico acerca do objeto de estudo em cena. Reconhece-se que essa combinação profícua possibilita apreender a existência singular e coletiva do fenômeno, sem dispensar a subjetividade dos sujeitos que vivem essas histórias narradas em uma conjuntura.
