What is the contribution of mister Manoel Inácio Marques Neto's trajectory to understand the formation of the Brazilian proletarian? (Rio Grande do Sul, 50s from twentieth century)Em que a trajetória do senhor Manoel Inácio Marques Neto pode contribuir à compreensão da formação do proletariado brasileiro? (Rio Grande do Sul, década de 50 do século XX)http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/1984-9222.2016v8n16p11The present article aims to promote a dialog between the historiography that approached the anti-slavery campaign to the labors' combats at Brazilian First Republic and that one that investigate the destination of former slaves and their families after the end of slavery. The article discusses by means of exemplary cases on the Brazilian State of Rio Grande do Sul verified through oral sources, meanly that one of the black peasant and, later, urban worker Manoel Inácio Marques Neto, the expectations of black families on the freedom; the temporal and generational variability of the insertion of black people in the labor market, linking it to their laboral ethics; and the effects of the racism in the choice of manpower. This summary aims to focus some questions of the labor's historiography owing to the contributions of the post-Abolition studies. We'll notice the labor ethics in two decisive moments: the immediate post-Abolition and the middle of the 20th century. Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)2017-05-25info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/mundosdotrabalho/article/view/1984-9222.2016v8n16p1110.5007/1984-9222.2016v8n16p11Revista Mundos do Trabalho; Vol. 8 No. 16 (2016): Biografia e História do Trabalho (II); 11-32Revista Mundos do Trabalho; Vol. 8 Núm. 16 (2016): Biografia e História do Trabalho (II); 11-32Revista Mundos do Trabalho; v. 8 n. 16 (2016): Biografia e História do Trabalho (II); 11-321984-9222reponame:Revista Mundos do Trabalhoinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)instacron:UFSCporhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/mundosdotrabalho/article/view/1984-9222.2016v8n16p11/34101Copyright (c) 2017 Revista Mundos do Trabalhoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessWeimer, Rodrigo de Azevedo2023-05-18T02:30:51Zoai:periodicos.ufsc.br:article/45383Revistahttp://www.periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/mundosdotrabalhoPUBhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/mundosdotrabalho/oai||revistamundosdotrabalho@gmail.com|| portaldeperiodicos.bu@contato.ufsc.br1984-92221984-9222opendoar:2023-05-18T02:30:51Revista Mundos do Trabalho - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)false |
