Resumo: The present article intends to report the origins of the Internet of Things, its state of art and to highlight its main vectors. To that end, the study will cover the mediaeval epochs of Santaella (2007, pp. 179-189), along with the discussion of the Turing machines, Von Neumann architecture until reaching the Internet and its current state implemented in things.
