Resumo: The fictional serial television, particularly soap operas, cause an identification and a projection at the viewer It happens not only in the fiction narratives but in the systems of representation also. Is the identification-projection method that engages the soap opera viewer? How can it create so much fascination? Therefore, we propose a brief study about the power of the narrative of soap operas and its identification on the captive and loyal audience.

Será por esse modo de identificação-projeção que a telenovela consegue envolver o telespectador? De que forma ela consegue exercer tanto fascínio?
