Thinking about Latin American public communication in the context of the connection culture: possibilities and challenges

Resumo: The objective is to reflect on concepts and practices proposed by Jenkins, Ford and Green in the work Culture of Connection as possibilities to increase the performance of Public Communication in Latin America, motivate their acceptance, broaden their scope and, from the participation of the citizens, propagate "its content in today's media scene, marked by digitization and convergence. With a dialectical methodological approach, work is a reflexive exercise that seeks to awaken the understanding that the challenges presented here are also systematic paths that may lead to understanding how the idea and practices of "propagability" can enhance Public Communication in the subcontinent.
