Resumo: This paper aims to discuss the main changes that device’s applications have faced along the past decades in order to show how internet connection has deeply influenced the way people communicate and interact with this media. From the Internet of Things (IoT) perspective, the Hannibal serie and its second screen app case is briefly presented for supporting the key challenges of this post-web internet era: (1) protection of sensitive and private user data in a ubiquitous environment, (2) interoperability, (3) communication and (4) proper language.
