Resumo: This article approaches the question of the quality of children 's programs in the Brazilian audiovisual scene, based on the analysis of the episode. currently on display on TV Ra Tim Bum !. Firstly, we have undertaken a discussion about the definition of quality parameters, in their relationship with media literacy, for the analysis of the production of children's programs. Second, we analyze the options of dramaturgy and staging of the transcription of John and Mary by the company Le Plat du Jour for television.
