Resumo: This article aims to present, considering the lack of research and guidelines about audio description (AD) for children, the audio description process of the IaraApp, an application for teaching Science to children aged eight to ten years old. During the project, different challenges were faced, regarding both static and dynamic images, such as defining the order of the elements in the description and the length of the scripts. At the end, it was concluded that strategies such as the standardization of descriptions, the careful choice of vocabulary, and the use of comparisons helped the production of the ADs.

Durante o projeto, foram enfrentados diferentes desafios, como a definição da ordem de descrição dos elementos e o tamanho dos roteiros de AD, tanto de imagens estáticas quanto de imagens dinâmicas.
