THE INTEGRATION OF BRAZILIAN ALL NEWS RADIO STATIONS TO THE AUDIO STREAMING PLATFORMS

Resumo: In the convergence scenario, broadcasters dedicated to radio journalism are connecting to a multidimensional phenomenon: the platformization. In order to analyze this process, we identified the integration strategies used by CBN and BandNews radios on three streaming platforms that aggregate sound content: Apple Podcast, Google Podcast and Spotify. From a cartographic approach, we reveal the connections, specificities, regularities, irregularities and heterogeneities that stress the social and economic sustainability of radio. The platformization environment can confront editorial logics of journalistic production with the rules of ethics and quality and with the problems inherent to the internet, such as the dissemination of false news and hate speech, which undermine informational credibility.

A partir de uma abordagem cartográfica, revelamos conexões, especificidades, regularidades, irregularidades e heterogeneidades que tensionam a sustentabilidade social e econômica do rádio.
