This article aims to share a work experience in the Conviviality and Cultural Center of the West Zone in the city of  Rio de Janeiro, articulated with the concept of affective anti- asylum work, before and during the covid-19 pandemic.  A research is presented with the workers of these services about activity of conviviality and how the affectie dimension operates, using the photo workshop method. The constuction of virtual workshops, resulting from the pandemic context, which invented other ways to strengthen networks of affection and reduce the damage of social isolation through information and communication technologies is narrated.
