Resumo: During the men's football world cup in Russia, 2018, Neymar's fault simulation became the theme of various memes that resulted in countless jokes that came to be known as "Neymar Challenge". As a result TV sports pannels had to address and debate the situation. This study intends to understand the strategies adopted by these TV programs to assimilate that phenomenon.
