Resumo: In this article we discuss the academic production dedicated to the understanding of the Brazilian Digital Games Industry by researchers from different areas of knowledge. The data comes from works such as dissertations and theses, articles in periodicals and annals of events, research reports and books. Through a quantitative-qualitative thematic analysis, we raised topics of interest related to economics, law, ‘Brazilianness’ and diversity that are of interest to Brazilian academics. In communication, we find research gaps and opportunities regarding the industry's internal and external communication practices.

A produção coletada é oriunda de trabalhos como dissertações e teses, artigos em periódicos e anais de eventos, relatórios de pesquisa e livros. Através de uma análise temática quanti-qualitativa levantamos temas de interesse ligados à economia, direito, brasilidade e diversidade que são caros à academia brasileira.
