The excessive immersion of globalization and the fragile economic and social policies of some Latin American countries decades ago, caused thousands of their citizens to migrate to different destinations in search of development or "progress". This diaspora and the macro-dilapidation in some cities of reception have made immigrants have to adapt to the context, creating hybridizations, exchanges, appropriations and mestizaje as a product of the search for identity and the use of empow- ering capital. The crises that have plagued the European countries in recent years and the problems that come with immigrants living in these places have made Marmaruk Kayshapanta through his work as an audiovisual producer and his attempts to create bonds of unity, support, learning, voice to the immigrant creating or re-creating identities through symbols, characteristics, features, clothing and idiom (kichwa), bringing the immigrants significantly closer to their place of origin, simulating a symbolic attachment in social relations in transit and their families beyond borders.
