Uso das águas pluviais para uso nobre: um modelo no IFPB

Resumo: Disorganized population growth, the scarce availability of potable water and the absence of rainwater use compromise and hinder the healthy life of the planet. Civil construction can minimize these problems through building facilities for the use of rainwater for the initial project design. A research project designed a model for an Academic Unit of the Federal Institute of Paraíba, Campus João Pessoa, contributing to a reduction of water consumption. The study considers the volume of the water contributions collected in the coverages, the technical areas and the location of the vertical gutters, tanks and wooden tanks for the supply of water, from the daily consumption. The project uses UV light to treat water disinfection, as recommended by Ministerial Order 2914 of the Ministry of Health, covering sustainable guidelines for the use of rainwater in the educational institution.
