Engenharia de ProduçãoOs conceitos de Lean Construction (LC) e Sustentabilidade apresentam objetivos similares, como redução de desperdícios e foco em melhorias, que são afirmados por pesquisas recentes sobre a relação entre os conceitos. Este trabalho tem por objetivo verificar de que forma a aplicação dos conceitos de LC podem contribuir com a potencialização dos indicadores de Sustentabilidade em projetos da indústria da Arquitetura, Engenharia e Construção (AEC) de Santa Catarina. Para tanto, foi realizada uma revisão de literatura para identificação de relação teórica com a prática, evidenciada por meio da elaboração de um questionário aplicado junto a profissionais da indústria AEC de SC. Os resultados apresentam uma análise descritiva indicando de que forma ocorre esta relação entre os conceitos LC e sustentabilidade. Por fim foi apresentada uma proposta de aplicação das práticas lean alinhadas aos indicadores sustentáveis. Conclui-se que a relação teórica e prática da aplicação do Lean Construction potencializam os indicadores sustentáveis, principalmente quando alinhados com interesses dos stakeholders, assim como a proposta apresentada auxilia no engajamento da filosofia lean entre os trabalhadores, e potencialização dos indicadores sustentáveis de empreendimentos da indústria da construção.The concepts of Lean Construction and Sustainability present similar objectives, such as waste reduction and focus on improvements, which are affirmed by recent research on the relationship between concepts. This work aims to verify how the application of Lean Construction concepts can contribute to the enhancement of Sustainability indicators in projects of the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry in Santa Catarina (SC). To identify the theoretical and practical relationship of the two concepts and the elaboration of a proposal for their application. To do so, a literature review was applied to identify the theoretical relationship with the practice, evidenced by means of the elaboration of a questionnaire applied to professionals of the AEC industry in the state of SC. The results present a descriptive analysis indicating how this relationship between lean concepts and sustainability occurs. Lastly, a proposal for the application of lean practices aligned to sustainable indicators was presented.
