O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o crescimento e a eficiência simbiótica de rizóbios isolados de áreas de Restinga em Phaseolus vulgaris cv. Tangará em relação à estirpe CIAT 899 recomendada para a cultura. Para isto, foram avaliados 14 tratamentos em um experimento inteiramente casualizado com 4 repetições em casa de vegetação utilizando-se vasos Leonard, sendo testados 11 isolados de rizóbios autóctones de áreas de restinga, um tratamento com alto N, um com baixo N e outro com a estirpe recomendada. Avaliou-se a massa seca da parte aérea e de raízes, número e massa seca de nódulos, teor e acúmulo de N e eficiência simbiótica. Os isolados de áreas de restinga foram capazes de nodular o Phaseolus vulgaris cv. Tangará. Dentre os isolados testados, o RM69 se mostrou eficiente na promoção de crescimento vegetal, acúmulo de nitrogênio na parte aérea do feijoeiro e eficiência simbiótica de 115 %, apresentando desempenho semelhante à estirpe recomendada, mostrando-se promissor para uso em estudos futuros em diferentes condições à campo.Rhizobium perform biological nitrogen fixation in symbiosis with various legumes, promoting better development of the same. The objective of this study was to evaluate the growth and symbiotic efficiency of rhizobia isolated from Restinga areas in Phaseolus vulgaris cv. Tangará regarding CIAT 899 strain recommended for culture. For this, 14 treatments we evaluated in a completely randomized design with four replications in a greenhouse using Leonard vessels being tested 11 isolates of indigenous rhizobia sandbank areas, treatment with N high, with low N and the other with the recommended strain. We evaluated the dry mass of shoots and roots, number and nodule dry weight, the content and the accumulation of N and symbiotic efficiency was evaluated. The isolated salt marsh areas were able to nodular the Phaseolus vulgaris cv. Tangará.
