Também na modernidade, analisa os impactos das convenções, fóruns, simpósios e seminários, especialmente, os ocorridos na década de 1990, entre governos, organizações não governamentais e Instituições internacionais com foco na conservação da biodiversidade. Deste modo, sob as lentes da antropologia, foi empreendida a pesquisa nos domínios da biotecnologia, agroecologia e nos campos dos saberes, tanto do científico como do tradicional, onde, é perceptível o embate político e econômico na sociedade em torno das sementes, sobretudo, pelo desenvolvimento das sementes geneticamente modificadas. Also in modernity, it analyzes the impacts of conventions, forums, symposiums and seminars, especially those that occurred in the 1990s, between governments, non-governmental organizations and international institutions focused on biodiversity conservation. Thus, under the lens of anthropology, research was undertaken in the fields of biotechnology, agroecology and in the fields of knowledge, both scientific and traditional, where, the political and economic clash in society around the seeds, especially, by the development of genetically modified seeds.
