Trinta anos depois do fim da ditadura no Brasil, com a criação da Comissão da Verdade e da Comissão Camponesa da Verdade, a partir de 2012, a história sobre a ditadura civil-militar ganha espaço na sociedade e novos personagens entram em cena, entre eles os trabalhadores rurais. Esta pesquisa insere-se neste contexto. Buscamos analisar os valores, símbolos, sentidos, partilhados e disputados por estes trabalhadores diante das contradições existentes na luta por reforma agrária e a prevalência da concentração da terra e da modernização conservadora da agricultura. Em contexto militarizado se aprofundam as desigualdade sociais em favor dos lucros dos ricos empresários e latifundiários, unificadas ao capital Estadunidense. O direito a trabalhar a terra está presente na memória dos trabalhadores rurais que ocuparam a fazenda Burro Branco, porém o caráter espontâneo endereçado a este fato histórico nos instiga a pesquisar sobre o movimento do capital num período de exceção de direitos, inclusive impedindo os trabalhadores de se organizarem. Como metodologia, utilizamos a pesquisa oral e escrita. Realizei entrevista com três assentados da fazenda Burro Branco que participaram da ocupação e ainda residem na área, e com dois dirigentes sociais envolvidos com a luta pela reforma agrária na região. Os principais referenciais teóricos foram, em relação à luta pela reforma agrária no Brasil e no oeste catarinense: MARTINS (1982), STEDILE (2005), MELO (2012); POLI (2008) e na temática sobre memória e ditadura civil-militar: MONTENEGRO (1994), HUYSSEN (1996) NETTO (2014), DREIFUSS (1981), GORENDER (1987). Ao problematizar a ausência de estudos históricos da repressão sobre os trabalhadores rurais durante a ditadura civil-militar me detive em fazer análise critica sobre a realidade a partir da visão dos trabalhadores, apoiada nos estudos de MARX (2013), E.P.THOMPSON (2002) e IASI (2007). A pesquisa possibilitou trazer presente a memória dos ocupantes da Fazenda, as dificuldades, lutas e organização existente naquela que foi a primeira ocupação de terras em Santa Catarina, dando origem, alguns anos depois, ao MST. A pesquisa possibilitou trazer presente o assassinato de três jovens trabalhadores rurais pela ação repressiva do regime militar em conluio com os paramilitares que atuavam para o latifúndio na região. A pesquisa questiona ainda o caráter espontâneo atribuído a estaocupação, identificando-a como produto de um contexto de concentração da riqueza e da terra e da falta de alternativas dos trabalhadores rurais, além de expressar os movimentos políticos existentes no período, o que os leva à criação de um nova forma de luta por acesso à terra: a ocupação.<br>Abstract : The objective of this research is to study the struggle for land in the context of civil - military dictatorship (1964-1985), sharing the memory of peasants who have occupied in western Santa Catarina , the farm "Burro Branco" in May 1980. Thirty years after the end of dictatorship in Brazil , with the creation of the Truth Commission and the Peasant Truth Commission, from 2012 , the history of the civil - military dictatorship gains ground in society and new characters come into play, including rural workers. This research fits into this context. We analyze the values, symbols, meanings , shared and played by these workers in the face of contradictions in the struggle for agrarian reform and the prevalence of land concentration and conservative modernization of agriculture. In militarized context deepen social inequality in favor of profits of wealthy businessmen and landowners, unified to the US capital. The right to work the land is present in the memory of the rural workers who occupied the farm "Burro Branco", but the spontaneous character assigned to this historical fact encourages us to research the movement of capital in a rights exception period, including preventing workers from organize themselves. The methodology used was the oral and writing research. I conducted an interview with three settlers "assentados" of the farm "Burro Branco", who participated in the occupation and still live in the area, and two social leaders involved in the struggle for agrarian reform in the region. The main theoretical references were in relation to the struggle for land reform in Brazil and in western Santa Catarina: MARTINS (1982 ), STEDILE (2005 ), MELO ( 2012); POLI (2008 ) and the theme of memory and civil - military dictatorship: MONTENEGRO (1994 ), HUYSSEN (1996 ) NETTO (2014), DREIFUSS (1981 ), GORENDER (1987). To question the absence of historical studies of the repression of peasants during the civil - military dictatorship stopped me in making critical analysis of reality from the workers' vision, based on studies of MARX (2013 ), EP THOMPSON (2002) and IASI (2007 ). The research made it possible to bring this memory of the farm occupants, difficulties, struggles and organization existing in what was the first occupation of land in Santa Catarina , leading a few years later, the MST. The research also made it possible to bring to present the murder of three young rural workers by the crackdown of the military regime in collusion with the paramilitaries who worked for large estates in the region.
