Medicina Veterinária.Em 1946 foi criado a Saúde Pública Veterinária pela Organização Mundial da Saúde, com novas áreas para o médico veterinário atuar e priorizando o controle de zoonoses, higiene dos alimentos, trabalhos de laboratório, de biologia e atividades experimentais. No Brasil foi apenas na década 90, com a publicação da Resolução N° 218/1997 do Conselho Nacional da Saúde, que o Médico Veterinário foi listado como um profissional da saúde de nível superior. Em 2011 com a Portaria N°2488, o Médico Veterinário foi incluído ao quadro profissional da atenção básica à saúde, atuando nos Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família (NASF). O objetivo do presente Relatório de estágio curricular do Curso de Graduação em Medicina Veterinária do Centro de Ciências Rurais da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina como requisito para a obtenção do Título Médico Veterinário, é apresentar as atividades realizadas pela aluna durante o período de 15 de julho a 15 de novembro de 2019 no Centro de Controle de Zoonoses de Florianópolis, totalizando 530 horas de estágio.In 1946 the Veterinary Public Health was created by the World Health Organization, with new areas for the veterinarian to act and prioritizing the control of zoonoses, food hygiene, laboratory work, biology and experimental activities. It was not until the 1990s in Brazil, with the publication of Resolution No. 218/1997 of the National Health Council, that the Veterinarian was listed as a higher level health professional. In 2011 with Ordinance No. 2488, the Veterinarian was included in the professional staff of primary health care, working in Family Health Support Centers (NASF). The purpose of this Curricular Internship Report of the Veterinary Medicine Undergraduate Course of the Center for Rural Sciences of the Federal University of Santa Catarina as a requirement to obtain the Veterinary Medical Title is to present the activities performed by the student during the period of July 15.
