Geologia.A compreensão de feições estruturais, tais como domos ou altos estruturais e zonas afetadas por paleoestruturas presentes no embasamento, é de grande importância para o entendimento da origem e evolução de bacias de sedimentares. O presente trabalho faz uma abordagem de natureza estrutural-tectônica visando analisar a história deformacional registrada nas rochas do Domo de Lages (DL). O domo, localizado na Bacia do Paraná (BP), porção centro-sul de SC, é uma estrutura concêntrica irregular, com cerca de 30 km de diâmetro e levemente alongada na direção NW-SE. O domo é uma janela estratigráfica na BP, expondo no centro unidades permianas mais antigas (grupos Itararé e Guatá) e na borda unidades do Permiano superior e mesozoicas (grupos Passa Dois e São Bento). No DL ocorre expressivo volume de rochas alcalinas com ~ 73 Ma, originadas como reflexo do evento tectono-termal responsável pela abertura do Oceano Atlântico Sul. O estudo desenvolvido envolveu a análise do comportamento espacial do acamamento sedimentar e estruturas que o afetam, tais como dobras, fraturas, clivagens de fratura, falhas, brechas e diques. Os dados espaciais foram integrados e analisados em mapa 1:100.000, perfis esquemáticos, estereogramas e diagramas de roseta. A análise do conjunto de estruturas deformacionais possibilitou a elaboração de um modelo tectônico evolutivo visando correlacioná-las com a origem e evolução da estrutura dômica em questão. O modelo obtido contempla a seguinte sequência de eventos: I e II) esforços compressivos decorrentes de reativações de paleoestruturas do embasamento no Permiano superior originaram kink bands (eixos com orientação NW) e clivagens de fratura direcionais (NW, NE e N-S). A combinação destes esforços produziu um padrão de interferência, o qual pode ter sido responsável pela nucleação da estrutura dômica; III) esforços distensivos associados à abertura do Atlântico Sul (~134Ma) geraram fraturas e colocação de diques de diabásio relacionados ao magmatismo Serra Geral; IV) evento distensivo que resultou em intrusões de magmas alcalinos gerando diques e brechas (NE e NW) em subsuperfície durante o Cretáceo superior, que levaram ao alçamento do domo em pelo menos 1000m; V) evento compressivo que gerou falhas transcorrentes (~NS, EW) e zonas cisalhadas (NW) em rochas alcalinas durante a transição Cretáceo-Cenozoico.The understanding of structural features, such as domes or structural highs and zones affected by paleostructures present in the basement, is of great importance for the comprehension on the origin and evolution of sedimentary basins. The present work makes a structural-tectonic approach aiming to analyse the deformational history registered on the rocks of the Lages Dome. The dome, located in the Paraná Basin, on the central-southern portion of Santa Catarina State, is an irregular concentric structure with 30km in diameter and slightly lengthened in the direction NW-SE. The dome is a stratigraphic window at the basin, exposing in the center older Permian units (groups Itararé and Guatá) and, on the edge, Upper Permian and Mesozoic units (groups Passa Dois and São Bento). In the Lages Dome occurs a significant volume of alkaline rocks with ~ 73 Ma, originated as a reflection of the tectono-thermal event responsible for the opening of the South Atlantic Ocean. The study involved the spatial behavior analysis of sedimentary bedding and structures that affect it, such as folds, fractures, fracture cleavages, faults, igneous breccias and dikes. The spatial data were integrated and analyzed with a map 1:100.000, schematic profiles, stereograms and diagrams. The analysis of the deformational structures made possible the elaboration of a tectonic evolutionay model to correlate them with the origin and evolution of the domic structure. The obtained model includes the following sequence of events: I and II) compressive stress due to paleostructures reativations in the Upper Permian originated kink bands (NW oriented) and directional cleavage fractures (NW, NE and N-S).
