Araranguá. Fisioterapia.Introdução: A doença renal crônica (DRC) constitui uma condição patológica que pode afetar a capacidade funcional e consequentemente a qualidade de vida (QV). Objetivos: Analisar o perfil físico e emocional de pacientes com insuficiência renal crônica (IRC) em hemodiálise (HD) no Hospital Regional de Araranguá-SC. Materiais e Métodos: Foram avaliados pacientes portadores de IRC submetidos a três sessões semanais de HD no Hospital Regional de Araranguá-SC. Para investigação da capacidade funcional foi utilizado o teste de caminhada de seis minutos (TC6’). Para avaliação da QV foi utilizado o questionário KDQOL e para depressão, o Inventário de Depressão de Beck. Análise Estatística: Os dados foram apresentados de forma descritiva. O teste de Shapiro Wilk foi utilizado para verificar a normalidade da distribuição dos dados. Para verificar possíveis associações entre as variáveis foi utilizado o coeficiente de correlação de Spearman e para comparação entre sexos foi utilizado o teste Mann Whitney U. Foi considerado p<0,05 como significativo. Resultados: Participaram do estudo 28 pacientes com média de idade de 55,8 ± 12,1 anos, sendo 50% homens. Quanto à prática de atividade física, 78,6% não realizavam nenhuma atividade. A QV apresentou-se afetada negativamente, sobretudo nas dimensões sobrecarga da doença renal, papel profissional, função cognitiva, qualidade da interação social, funcionamento físico, função física e saúde geral que apresentaram escores mais baixos. Além disso, a análise de comparação entre os sexos e domínios do KDQOL, mostrou que as mulheres possuem piores escores para função física (p=0,011) e dor (p=0,025). No entanto, para os pacientes em geral, os domínios função sexual, estímulo por parte da equipe e suporte social apresentaram escores altos representando boa QV. A maioria dos participantes (57%) possuía algum nível de depressão, variando de leve a severa. Quatorze pacientes realizaram o TC6’, a média de distância percorrida foi de 404,1 ± 105,7 m, atingindo 71% do previsto. Conclusão: Para estes pacientes com DRC em tratamento dialítico, a CF apresentou-se reduzida, a QV foi afetada negativamente pela doença bem como foi observado a presença de sintomas depressivos.Introduction: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a pathological condition that can affect the functional capacity and consequently the quality of life (QOL). Objectives: To analyze the physical and emotional profile of patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) in hemodialysis (HD) in the Regional Hospital Araranguá-SC. Materials and Methods: We evaluated patients with CKD undergoing HD three weekly sessions at the Regional Hospital of Araranguá-SC. To investigate the functional capacity was used the six-minute walk test (6MWT). To assess QOL questionnaire was used KDQOL and depression, the Beck Depression Inventory. Statistical Analysis: Data were presented descriptively. The Shapiro-Wilk test was used to verify the normal distribution of data. To verify possible associations between variables we used the Spearman correlation coefficient and to compare gender we used the Mann Whitney U test was considered p <0.05 as significant. Results: The study included 28 patients with a mean age of 55.8 ± 12.1 years, 50% men. As for physical activity, 78.6% did not perform any activity. The QV presented negatively affected, especially in overhead dimensions of kidney disease, professional role, cognitive function, quality of social interaction, physical functioning, physical function and general health who had lower scores. In addition, the comparison analysis between the sexes and areas of KDQOL, has shown that women have worse scores for physical function (p= 0.011) and pain (p= 0.025). However, for patients in general, sexual function domains, stimulus by the team and social support had higher scores representing good QOL.
