Resumo: This present paper is the result of a bachelor's degree course work in Design with the objective of developing a product for a vertical garden capable of promoting the interaction between man and nature within a logic of strategic design (product-service system). Research was made of sustainable initiatives as first inspirations and introductory foundation, with affinity with some United Nations sustainable development goals. Interviews and case studies were also carried out to complement the research, bringing both the imminence of a change of mental model and valuable insights for the materialization of this project. Thus, through strategic design, a system was developed that integrated plants and people through the use of this product, awakening the desire to cultivate and share the results of their dedication, instilling in other people the desire to seek connections with nature.

Realizaram-se pesquisas de iniciativas sustentáveis como primeiras inspirações e embasamento introdutório, com afinidade em alguns objetivos de desenvolvimento sustentável das Nações Unidas. Também foram realizadas entrevistas e estudos de caso para complementar a pesquisa, trazendo tanto a iminência de uma mudança de modelo mental quanto insights valiosos para materialização deste projeto.
