Estudo sobre resíduos da construção civil: classificações, panorama e instrumentos jurídicos para proteção do meio ambiente

Resumo: Human activities linked to civil construction bring about serious changes in the environment, either by extracting the raw material for urban development or by generating residues. Given this, and taking into account the need for sustainable development, this article, through a bibliographical research, aims to analyze the main meanings and classifications of construction residues, as well as the general panorama of solid residues production and some legal instruments of protection that the society and the responsible organs possess before the environmental degradation. It was found that there are several concepts and classifications of solid residues, and although there are positive legal instruments it is necessary to establish a shared environmental awareness among all citizens. Thus, it is concluded that the responsibility of guaranteeing the ecologically balanced environment is of the whole society, but especially of the organs legitimized for the protection of the environment as a fundamental right.

Diante disso, e tendo em consideração a necessidade de um desenvolvimento sustentável, este artigo, através de pesquisa bibliográfica, possui o objetivo de analisar as principais acepções e classificações dos resíduos da construção civil, bem como o panorama geral da produção de resíduos sólidos e alguns instrumentos jurídicos de proteção que a sociedade e os órgãos responsáveis possuem diante da degradação ambiental. Verificou-se que diversos são os conceitos e classificações dos resíduos sólidos, e apesar de existir instrumentos jurídicos positivados é necessário estabelecer uma consciência ambiental partilhada entre todos os cidadãos.
