Educação Física - Bacharelado.O objetivo geral deste trabalho foi analisar a estrutura organizacional e os procedimentos pedagógicos de um projeto social esportivo que tem o surf como ferramenta de ensino. Como objetivos específicos buscou-se identificar os princípios conceituais e metas do projeto social Drop do bem, caracterizar as estratégias de ensino aplicadas no projeto Drop do bem, analisar os impactos percebidos do programa e identificar desafios encontrados pelos instrutores do projeto. Metodologicamente este trabalho se caracteriza como uma pesquisa qualitativa, quanto aos objetivos pode ser considerada uma pesquisa descritiva e exploratória. Foram utilizados roteiros de pesquisa semiestruturadas com três instrutores e com o idealizador do projeto, a fim de atingir os objetivos propostos. Os dados foram captados com um gravador eletrônico e transcritos, literalmente, com o auxílio dos softwares iTunes e Microsoft Office Word (versão 2013). Também foi utilizada a técnica de análise documental, a fim de traçar a identidade do projeto pesquisado. Como forma de análise de dados foi utilizado o método análise temática, que tem como objetivo identificar, analisar e relatar padrões, ou temas, dentro do conjunto de dados obtidos pelo pesquisador. Como resultados foi possível verificar que os instrutores do projeto possuem uma intima relação com o surf e as metas propostas foram em parte atingidas. Também verificou-se que num primeiro momento foi priorizada a parte física dos alunos e que a segurança se faz sempre presente nas aulas do projeto. Para uma melhor organização das atividades os alunos eram divididos em níveis técnicos, para que as lições pudessem ser direcionadas para cada especificidade. Com relação aos impactos percebidos foi possível notar uma evolução nas atitudes e comportamentos dos alunos, além de uma melhora no desempenho escolar e nas relações familiares. Como desafios foram apresentados o fim da verba disponível, a grande variação nas idades dos alunos e a dificuldade em planejar as aulas.The general objective of this research was to analyze the organizational structure and pedagogical procedures of a social sport project that has surfing as a teaching tool. Specific objectives were to identify the conceptual principles and goals of the social project “Drop do Bem”, characterize the teaching strategies applied in the project “Drop do Bem”, analyze the perceived impacts of the program and identify challenges encountered by the project instructors. Methodologically, this work is characterized as a qualitative research, regarding the objectives can be considered a descriptive and exploratory research. Semi-structured research guides were used with three instructors and with the project's originator, in order to reach the proposed objectives. The data was captured with an electronic recorder and transcribed, literally, with the aid of iTunes software and Microsoft Office Word (version 2013). The document analysis technique was also used in order to trace the identity of the research project. As a form of data analysis was used the thematic analysis method, which aims to identify, analyze and report patterns, or themes, within the set of data obtained by the researcher. As a result it was possible to verify that the instructors of the project have an intimate relation with the surf and the goals proposed were in part affected. It was also verified that in the first moment the physical part of the students was prioritized and that safety is always present in the classes of the project. For a better organization of the activities the students were divided in technical levels, so that the lessons could be directed to each specificity. With regard to the perceived impacts, it was possible to notice an evolution in the attitudes and behaviors of the students, besides an improvement in the school performance and in the family relations.
