Spirituality and health: subject experience in undergraduate school of nursing

Resumo: Aim: to present the activities and experiences of nursing students in the subject of Spirituality and Health. Method: it is an experience report that configures the experiences of students of the eighth period of the nursing course of the aforementioned discipline in the second semester of the years of 2014 and 2015. The pedagogical strategies used in the discipline were: expository-dialogic classes, group activities, films, guests of the psychology area, portfolio structure, experience reports, case studies using nursing diagnoses. The scenarios used were the classroom, health institutions of other cities, and the external community. Results: from the students’ speeches, it was possible to observe how important and necessary this discipline is to the undergraduate school of nursing, as it stimulates in the student the ability to go beyond the observable and helps to understand the other needs for the patients and their family, who receive the care. Final Considerations: to assist the patient in their integrality involves the care of the spiritual and religious dimensions and represents for the nurse a rescue of humanized care.

Método: se trata de un relato de experiencia, que entiende como vivencia las de los estudiantes del octavo semestre del curso de enfermería de la disciplina anteriormente citada, en el segundo semestre de los años de 2014 y 2015. Las estrategias pedagógicas de la disciplina fueron: clases expositivasdialogadas, actividades grupales, películas, invitados del área de psicología, portfolio, relatos de experiencia, estudios de caso con base en diagnósticos de enfermería. Los escenarios utilizados fueron el aula, las instituciones de salud de otras ciudades y la comunidad. Resultados: por medio de relatos de los estudiantes se observó la importancia de esta disciplina de graduación en enfermería, pues esta estimula la capacidad del estudiante de ir más allá de lo que puede ver y lo ayuda a comprender otras necesidades del cliente y de su familia que reciben la atención. Consideraciones finales: asistir al cliente en su totalidad es tener el cuidado con la dimensión espiritual y religiosa y representa para el enfermero el rescate de la atención humanizada.Objetivo: apresentar as atividades e as experiências vivenciadas por estudantes de enfermagem na disciplina de Espiritualidade e Saúde. Método: é um relato de experiência que configura as vivências de estudantes do oitavo período do curso de enfermagem da disciplina supracitada, no segundo semestre dos anos de 2014 e 2015. As estratégias pedagógicas utilizadas na disciplina foram: aulas expositivas-dialogadas, atividades grupais, filmes, convidados da área de psicologia, estruturação de portfólio, relatos de experiência, estudos de caso com uso de diagnósticos de enfermagem. Os cenários utilizados foram a sala de aula, instituições de saúde de outras cidades, e comunidade externa. Resultados: a partir das falas dos estudantes observou-se o quanto é importante e necessária esta disciplina para a graduação em enfermagem, pois estimula no estudante a capacidade de ir além do que se pode ver e o auxilia a compreender outras necessidades para o cliente e família que recebe o cuidado.
