Resumo: | The studies that link Law and Literature integrate the knowledge of the law to jusliterary reflection, developing critical reading skills, in a way that promotes an ontological discussion within the legal sciences. Bearing in mind the profusion of fake news that permeates the Brazilian public debate, this article proposes to analyze the use of disinformation as a control mechanism in the information society, through the dystopian literature of 1984 (George Orwell), We (Yevgeny Zamyatin) and Fahrenheit 451 (Ray Bradbury). For methodological purposes, qualitative research was used, based on bibliographic and documentary analysis. The research design is based on the phenomenological, critical and exploratory epistemological character. Given this approach, similarities are demonstrated in the modes of surveillance for an attempt at social control adopted in dystopias and in the current political, social and legal situation in Brazil with the futuristic realities exposed in the books. |
