Resumo: | This article reflects about the literary studies expansion in the 20 th century, emphasizing the development of structuralist criticism, that counterpoints the marxist criticism, in order to demonstrate how the political strength of this period induces the structuralists and socialists to act under rigid ideological, tacit or normative control. Brazil and Bulgaria are exemplar cases, the first one because the result of this interference is the sociological critical depolicization, and the second one where, inversely, it can be seen the beginning of a political conscience in the structural area, as a way of resistance against marxist determinism. |
