Marginal literature as a project of resistance: a reading based on three novels by Ferréz

From the establishment of literature as a knowledge field the rules, and values institutionalized by the scholars started to indicate what is or not literature. The literature becomes highly selective and reactionary because it is based on the taste of certain social classes denying texts that don't frame into its stands. Starts to consider texts and writers out of their axis as marginal literature. However, in contrast to this negative stigma, in the last years of the century 20th, arose a new literary modality called marginal literature, in contrast to the negative sense given to the authors that were marked under this sign. Among the writers of this modality stands out Ferréz. Here will be briefly analyzed his three romances. The finality is showing the force of this movement, its resistance form to the literary traditions, and its character of denunciation to the violence that is submitted to peripheral communities and marginalized subjects.
