Resumo: Objective: to evaluate the quality of life of women undergoing hemodialysis. Method: descriptive and cross-sectional quantitative study of 51 women undergoing hemodialysis treatment attended at a hospital in Northeast Brazil. Data were collected using the KDQOL-SF36 questionnaire. The descriptive statistical analysis and the calculation of the questionnaire score were performed. The ANOVA and t Tukey tests were performed. Results: The domains that most compromised quality of life and therefore presented major limitations, were physical performance/ problems (M = 95.4) and emotional problems (M = 96.5), both had a standard deviation less than 1 (M = 2,1 / SD = 1,5), vitality (M = 7.0 / SD = 3.0) and general health perception (M = 9.5 / SD = 3,3) little interfered in the quality of life of women. Conclusion: It is concluded that women undergoing hemodialysis have impairment of quality of life with limitations in physical performance / problems and emotional problems.

Universidade Federal de Santa Maria2019-01-11info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufsm.br/revistasaude/article/view/2929910.5902/2236583429299Saúde (Santa Maria); Revista Saúde (Santa Maria), Vol.44, n.3, Set/Dez 2018Saúde (Santa Maria); Revista Saúde (Santa Maria), Vol.44, n.3, Set/Dez 20182236-58340103-4499reponame:Saúde (Santa Maria)instname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMporhttps://periodicos.ufsm.br/revistasaude/article/view/29299/pdfCopyright (c) 2019 Saúde (Santa Maria)info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCouto, Pablo Luiz SantosOliveira, Gislane SilvaSouza, Diogo PereiraBoa Sorte, Elionara TeixeiraPaiva, Mirian SantosGomes, Antônio Marcos Tosoli2020-04-07T03:50:42Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/29299Revistahttps://periodicos.ufsm.br/revistasaudePUBhttps://periodicos.ufsm.br/revistasaude/oairevistasaude.ufsm@gmail.com || amanda.revsaude@gmail.com || beatriz.revsaude@gmail.com2236-58342236-5834opendoar:2020-04-07T03:50:42Saúde (Santa Maria) - Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)false
