Resumo: Introduction: Health data are important because, through them, it is possible to visualize general standards of a health issue and illness or in a region. Thus, this paper aimed to evaluate the health data production in the Hospital Epidemiology’s Center of Clinical Hospital of Federal University of Uberlândia - MG, between January and December of 2017. Methodology: This analysis concerns to a retrospective, exploratory and descriptive study of the production of health data (investigation and notification), based on the database of the Center. The information were analyzed by the type, gender, month frequency and origin of the appeal. Results: To reach the results, 31.071 cases were investigated, in which 2.052 were notified, corresponding to 35 diseases or communicated harms (suspected and confirmed) in the hospital. Aproximately 58.8% of the notification were male and six diseases and harms corresponded to 77.3% of the total notification. Conclusion: Therefore, it was necessary to frequently evaluate data produced by the Center, so that it was possible to identify prevailing and incident diseases and harms over the year, stimulating an action plan and/or creating health politics to solve these diseases and harms to the year after.

Universidade Federal de Santa Maria2019-08-10info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufsm.br/revistasaude/article/view/3712710.5902/2236583437127Saúde (Santa Maria); Revista Saúde (Santa Maria), Vol.45, n.2, maio-ago. 2019; 14Saúde (Santa Maria); Revista Saúde (Santa Maria), Vol.45, n.2, maio-ago. 2019; 142236-58340103-4499reponame:Saúde (Santa Maria)instname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMporhttps://periodicos.ufsm.br/revistasaude/article/view/37127/pdfCopyright (c) 2019 Saúde (Santa Maria)info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMartins, Henrique Cesar ParanhosRodrigues, Aurélia Aparecida de Araújo2019-11-12T22:50:48Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/37127Revistahttps://periodicos.ufsm.br/revistasaudePUBhttps://periodicos.ufsm.br/revistasaude/oairevistasaude.ufsm@gmail.com || amanda.revsaude@gmail.com || beatriz.revsaude@gmail.com2236-58342236-5834opendoar:2019-11-12T22:50:48Saúde (Santa Maria) - Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)false
