Introduction: ForensicNursing is an area on the rise today, but little known and structured in some countries. Demonstrating its importance only to a victim, but also to their family members involved and not to responsible entities.Objective: Identifying the performance of nursing professionals in the forensic area.Method: This is an integrative literature review, carried out in 2021, which aims to analyze data from previously published scientific productions, interpret them and synthesize content, encompassing the situation found. As a design, the CheckListPreferredReportingItems for Systematic Review Sand Meta-Analyses Methodology was used.Results: Thirteenarticles were selected and, from the analysis of these, five categories of Nursing performance in the forensic area were elucidated: 1) assistance to the victim, 2) assistance to the perpetrator, 3) education and prevention, 4) judicial support and 5) other general activities.Final considerations: The study carried out allowed a betterview of the performance of Nursing in the forensic area, which contributes to the awareness of professional saboutthis dimension of care.
