Resumo: | Objective: To characterize the speech therapy demand of users attended by the Speech Therapy service of a Health Center, identifying and analyzing their epidemiological profile. Methods: To analyze data from medical records of subjects assisted by Speech Therapy in a Health Center between March 2015 and February 2017. Characterized the speech-language demand as: age, gender, family health team, speech-language complaint, origin of referrals, use of deleterious oral habits and the evolution of cases. Results: Of the 113 medical records, there was a predominance of males (70.8%), aged 4 to 6 years (27.4%), referred by a pediatrician (59.4%) complaining of “speech exchange” (37 %) and use of harmful oral habits (64%). Most were referred according to the municipal network flow (24.1%). Conclusion: It is considered important to carry out prevention, promotion and health education in the field of speech therapy for the population, health professionals and education. |

Métodos: Analisar dados de prontuários de sujeitos atendidos pela Fonoaudiologia em um Centro de Saúde entre março de 2015 a fevereiro de 2017. Caracterizada a demanda fonoaudiológica quanto: idade, gênero, equipe de saúde da família, queixa fonoaudiológica, origem dos encaminhamentos, uso de hábitos orais deletérios e a evolução dos casos. Resultados: Dos 113 prontuários, houve predomínio do gênero masculino (70,8%), idade entre 4 a 6 anos (27,4%), encaminhados por pediatra (59,4%) com queixa de “trocas na fala” (37%) e uso de hábitos orais deletérios (64%). A maioria foi encaminhada de acordo com o fluxo da rede do município (24,1%).
