Resumo: The purpose of this study is to map the production of theses and dissertations that address the theme of nursing quality assessment instruments in the Brazilian scenario. A bibliometric study based on research published in the database of the Center for Studies and Research in Nursing of the Brazilian Nursing Association and the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, without temporal cut. Ten studies were selected: 06 dissertations and 04 theses, and quantitatively analyzed the ones with the most relevant keywords for the topic. The results were based on descriptive statistics and a profile of the publications studied was obtained. It is concluded that it is important to measure the care provided in nursing, through valid and reliable instruments, in the quest for improving the quality of care so that the patients are cared for in their entirety.

Estudo bibliométrico realizado a partir de pesquisas publicadas na base de dados do Centro de Estudos e Pesquisa em Enfermagem da Associação Brasileira de Enfermagem e da Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações, sem recorte temporal. Foram selecionados 10 estudos sendo 06 dissertações e 04 teses, e analisados quantitativamente os que possuem as palavras-chave mais relevantes para o tema. Os resultados basearam-se em estatística descritiva e obteve-se um perfil das publicações estudadas.
