Resumo: | http://dx.doi.org/10.5902/223611707268This research aims to analyze the environmental aspects and impacts of two public hospitals inFlorianópolis / SC, based on the method Sistema Contábil Gerencial Ambiental (SICOGEA). Themethodology is divided into three phases. The first part is the theoretical framework whichaddresses issues related to the topic. In the second stage, we introduce the case study, which isapplied to the third step of the first phase of SICOGEA. Although this step is performed a semistructuredinterview based on a checklist adapted to the activity. In the third stage, an analysis ismade of the results and their sustainability indices through seven criteria, which are: suppliers,eco-efficiency of the hospital process, treatment with patients, management indicators, staffing the organization, audit and accounting indicators environment. And finishing this step, we presenta proposal of an environmental management plan summary (5W2H), in order to suggestimprovements to the points deficit given priority by institutions. As a result, there was obtained aregular sustainability considered in both hospitals. Presented as indices, respectively, "Hospital X"63.55 (sixty-three point fifty-five percent) of sustainability, and the "Hospital Y" 53.70% (fifty-threepoint seventy percent). This means that institutions are only fulfilling the requirements relevantlaws and regulatory rules. Thus, there is the need to create a policy of environmental quality foreach institution, and is recommended implementing an environmental management system andconcomitantly performed proper monitoring and periodic evaluation. |
