EDUCATION AND HUMAN RIGHTS IN THE DISCOURSE OF THE COLLECTIVE SUBJECT PENITENTIARY AGENTS OF THE TEIXEIRA DE FREITAS PENITENTIARY

Resumo: The paper analyzes the discourses of the Collective Subject Penitentiary Agents of the Teixeira de Freitas Penitentiary about education and human rights. Therefore, a qualitative and quantitative approach was adopted, based on the methodologies of the case study and the Collective Subject Discourse (CSD), using the methodological resources of direct observation, document analysis and structured interviews. Due to population size, a sample of 37 agents was performed. Regarding the data analysis, the triangulation method was used, as well as the discursive analysis present in the DSC. The triangulation of the data occurred between the various documents that guide the operation of the system and the role of the penitentiary agent. On the other hand, for construction and analysis of the DSC's, QualiQuantiSoft® was used. In the end, there was a lack of knowledge of the concept of human rights education and its norms, and there is a need to properly work on the teaching of this theme with the category in a universalized way and integrated with their work practice.

Con este fin, se adoptó un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, basado en las metodologías de estudio de caso y las metodologías del Discurso del sujeto colectivo (DSC), utilizando los recursos metodológicos de observación directa, análisis de documentos y entrevistas estructuradas. Debido al tamaño de la población, se realizó una muestra de 37 agentes. Con respecto al análisis de datos, se utilizó el método de triangulación, así como el análisis discursivo presente en el DSC. La triangulación de datos se produjo entre los diversos documentos que guían el funcionamiento del sistema y el papel del oficial correccional. Por otro lado, para la construcción y análisis de los DSC, se utilizó QualiQuantiSoft®. Al final, hubo una falta de conocimiento del concepto de educación en derechos humanos y sus normas, y existe la necesidad de trabajar adecuadamente en la enseñanza de este tema con la categoría de manera universal e integrada con su práctica laboral.O trabalho analisa os discursos do sujeito coletivo agentes penitenciários do Conjunto Penal de Teixeira de Freitas acerca da educação e dos direitos humanos. Para tanto, foi adotada uma abordagem qualiquantitativa, tendo por base as metodologias do estudo de caso e do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo (DSC), sendo utilizados os recursos metodológicos da observação direta, da análise documental e das entrevistas estruturadas. Em virtude do tamanho da população, foi realizada uma amostra com 37 agentes. Com respeito à análise dos dados foi utilizado o método da triangulação, bem como a análise discursiva presente no DSC. A triangulação dos dados se deu entre os diversos documentos que orientam o funcionamento do sistema e a função do agente penitenciário. Por outro lado, para construção e análise dos DSC’s foi utilizado o QualiQuantiSoft®.
