Narratives and children: weaving yarn of sensitiveness through art and culture

Resumo: The present article highlights narratives of children interspersed in language-expressions of art and culture - material and immaterial, presenting methodologies in which education by the sensitive becomes essential in the formative path of children. The objective was to create and experience an Aesthetic Workshop, with art and local cultures as drivers of sensitivities. This article is an excerpt from a research carried out in a rural public school with 19 children from the 2nd year of elementary school l, in the municipality of Garuva, Santa Catarina. The methodological approach was the narrative, as the collection and production of data was based on the voices of the children, permeated by art and its cultural expressions. The analysis was based on the observation and interaction of the teacher-researchers and on narrative and production processes of the children. The results indicated that art and cultures mobilize the imagination, creation and sense of belonging of those involved.

O objetivo foi o de criar e experienciar uma Oficina Estética, tendo a arte e as culturas locais como propulsoras de sensibilidades. Este trabalho é um recorte de uma pesquisa a nível de Pós-Graduação, realizada em uma escola pública rural com 19 crianças do 2º ano do Ensino Fundamental l, no município de Garuva, Santa Catarina. A abordagem metodológica foi a narrativa, pois a coleta e a produção de dados se pautou nas vozes infantis, permeadas pela arte e expressões culturais. A análise fundamentou-se na observação e interação dos professores-pesquisadores e nos processos de produção e narrativas das crianças.
