Issues regarding the teaching of visual arts and music education

Summary: The problematizations discussed in this text are inserted in the contemporary discussions about the centrality of the culture and language in the production of the fields of the teaching of Visual Arts (VA) and Musical Education (ME). The interest of this text is dealing with certain discursive practices that act as schemes of truth to legitimize the teaching of VA and ME. They are: the romantic discourse and scientific discourse. However, the teaching of VA and ME are taken to review its action, under the direction of convergence of languages that is proposed by contemporary artistic practices. Initially, was set a discussion about the discursive net that produces the fields of knowledge into question. Then, the text indicates some possibilities of convergence in the teaching of VA and ME and of resistance to the scientificity of the curriculum, having in the background some approximations with the philosophy of diference.

O interesse deste texto é tratar de certas práticas discursivas que funcionam como regimes de verdade para legitimar o ensino de AV e EM. São elas: o discurso romântico e o discurso científico. Contudo, o ensino de AV e EM é levado a rever sua atuação, por força do sentido de convergência de linguagens que as práticas artísticas contemporâneas propõem. Inicialmente, é feita uma discussão sobre a rede discursiva que produz os campos de conhecimento em questão.
