Resumo: Migration is a complex social phenomenon which not only implies the process of changing residence and corssing geographical and administrative boundaries but also the deep changes in sociocultural and emotional life of those who move. This article is the reduction of a wider project entitled “Discovering Mexico” which pursues to make known elements of Mexican culture to sectors of different immigrant communities from other countries, particularly in this case, Japan. Through these artistic and cultural workshops given to a small group of Japanese immigrants living in Guanajuato, Mexico, our objective was to boost knowledge and tear down possibles prejudices about Mexican culture in these community. Generating a process of dialogue, integration and intercultural encounter.

Generating a process of dialogue, integration and intercultural encounter. Universidade Federal de Santa Maria2024-05-09info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdftext/htmlhttp://periodicos.ufsm.br/revislav/article/view/8683910.5902/1983734886839Revista Digital do LAV; Vol. 17 No. 1 (2024): Revista Digital do LAV, Jan./Dez. – Publicação contínua; e3/1-17Revista Digital do LAV; v. 17 n. 1 (2024): Revista Digital do LAV, Jan./Dez. – Publicação contínua; e3/1-171983-73481983-7348reponame:Revista Digital do LAV ( Laboratório de Artes Visuais)instname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMporhttp://periodicos.ufsm.br/revislav/article/view/86839/63763http://periodicos.ufsm.br/revislav/article/view/86839/63762Copyright (c) 2024 Revista Digital do LAVinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAguirre, Valeria Estefania MezaLópez, Jaqueline Alexandra MiramontesAlfaro, Nicole PadillaFreitag, Vanessa2024-05-13T18:03:56Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/86839Revistahttp://cascavel.ufsm.br/revistas/ojs-2.2.2/index.php/revislav/PUBhttp://cascavel.ufsm.br/revistas/ojs-2.2.2/index.php/revislav/oairevistadigitaldolav@gmail.com||daniel@rswa.com.br1983-73481983-7348opendoar:2024-05-13T18:03:56Revista Digital do LAV ( Laboratório de Artes Visuais) - Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)false
