Analysis of political discourse: a study on the federal supreme court

Resumo: This article studies the political discourses about the Federal Supreme Court in the current Brazilian context, and wants to understand the motivations and power relations of these discourses. The theoretical references of the study are the discourse analysis (AD) and the analysis of political discourse (ADP). The study concludes that political discourses about the Supreme Court are related to broader discourses about the Judiciary and fulfill functions determined by the historical-institutional relations that structure the Brazilian Democratic State of Law.

O referencial teórico que sustenta o estudo tem origem na análise de discurso (AD) e na análise do discurso político (ADP).
