Resumo: | Diversity is an outstanding characteristic of Brazilian contemporary literature, which reveals itself in the language, format, and in the different tones and themes. However, it is possible to outline some active forces in the current literary production, such as the violence (RESENDE, 2008). From the above, this article aims to verify how Joca Reiners Terron (2003) represents violence in his book Hotel Hell, which is presented, among other aspects, by the presence of grotesque images represented by the fusion of the man to the machine and / or the man to the animal. |
