Resumo: | The reactive power management and voltage control enable voltage profile improvements. Maintain the voltage value within the appropriate ranges requires efficient techniques that consider joint and coordinated operation between reactive power devices and voltage regulating equipment. These techniques are referenced in the literature as Volt/Var Control (VVC). The main objective of this work is to develop a centralized volt/var control methodology that acts on regulators transformers, capacitor banks and photovoltaic smart inverters. The optimization technique is based on heuristic algorithm and works with the effectiveness of the control equipment to reduce the electrical power losses. The methodology was implement from the software OpenDSS e MATLAB. The control was applied in distribution test systems and in the UFSM network, where all result was satisfactory and met the quality and reliability requirements of the systems. The result of the same networks simulated by traditional controls were not promising, this fact reiterates the contributions of this work on volt/var control studies. |

Manter a tensão dentro dos níveis adequados e estipulados por norma em todos os pontos do alimentador requer técnicas eficientes que considerem a operação conjunta e coordenada entre os equipamentos fontes de energia reativa e dispositivos reguladores de tensão. Tais técnicas são referenciadas na literatura como Controle Volt/Var (VVC, do inglês Volt/Var Control). Dentro desse contexto, este trabalho vem com o propósito de desenvolver uma metodologia de controle de tensão e potência reativa para redes de distribuição a qual atue de forma coordenada e centralizada no ajuste dos TAPs dos reguladores de tensão, bancos de capacitores e na variação gradual da potência reativa injetada/absorvida pelos inversores conectados junto aos geradores distribuídos fotovoltaicos. A técnica de otimização trabalha com métodos Heurísticos, onde direciona a busca pela solução com base na efetividade de atuação dos equipamentos na minimização das perdas técnicas totais do sistema. A metodologia desenvolvida foi implementada mediante interface entre dois softwares, OpenDSS e MATLAB, e aplicada em sistemas testes do IEEE e na rede interna da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). Os resultados obtidos nas simulações mostraram-se satisfatórios visto que atenderam a todos os requisitos de qualidade e confiabilidade na operação dos sistemas de distribuição, previamente estabelecidos na formulação do problema. Em contrapartida, confrontando estes resultados com as mesmas redes operando a partir de estratégias tradicionais, ainda muito utilizada pelas concessionárias de energia, os resultados não foram tão promissores.
