Resumo: In the last few years, Brazil has experienced a considerable increase in the number of buildings destined for the low-income population due to credit programs for housing construction, in an attempt to reduce the large housing deficit in the country. Natural lighting is an important requisite for the improvement of these constructions, since it contributes to their energy efficiency and interferes with users' visual and thermal comfort. The objective of the research was to evaluate the availability of natural light in the Videiras Residential Complex (CRV), a social multi-family housing project, located in Santa Maria, RS, built through the Governmental Program Minha Casa, Minha Vida. The method used in the study involves post-occupation assessment tools, as evaluation of satisfaction levels through the application of questionnaires to the CRV residents, verification of the adequacy to the current norms and regulations related to natural lighting and evaluation of the light dynamic variables through the APOLUX computer simulation program. The most part of CRV users consider themselves satisfied with the natural lighting of their housing units (UH), as well as from each room analyzed. The satisfaction tends to increase among the residents of the fourth floor and of the rooms where light colors were adopted in the furniture, revealing the influences of the surroundings on the other floors and the reflection indices of the internal surfaces. The UH of the CRV does not comply with the RTQ-R and the Código de Obras e Edificações de Santa Maria with regard to minimum lighting spans. The Código de Obras does not make it clear that it must consider just the unobstructed area of the frames and NBR 15575 does not even mention minimum spans for natural light. The results of the simulations showed that the rooms complied the parameters present in the RTQ-R simulation method and the minimum illuminances present in the NBR 15575. However, when considering parameters of 120 lux, most rooms did not have a satisfactory result, showing, on average, intermediate lighting performance. Also, it was observed the development of tasks that require higher levels of illuminance than those normally performed in residential environments. The norms should comply the specific needs of each building, and fail in not consider the possibility of unusual activities in certain residential environments. In general, the study contributed with information about the evaluation process of natural light performance of HIS, allowing to identify errors and rights that were determinant to the quality and luminous comfort inside the UH. The results obtained served as support for proposing project guidelines and suggestions for the legislation used, in order to qualify the production process and use of social housing project and to provide a better quality of life for users.

A iluminação natural é um importante requisito para a melhoria dessas construções, uma vez que contribui para sua eficiência energética e interfere no conforto visual e térmico dos usuários. O objetivo da pesquisa foi avaliar a disponibilidade de iluminação natural no Conjunto Residencial Videiras (CRV), empreendimento multifamiliar de habitação de interesse social (HIS), situado em Santa Maria, RS, construído através do Programa Minha Casa, Minha Vida. O método empregado no estudo envolve técnicas de Avaliação Pós-Ocupação, como avaliação dos níveis de satisfação através da aplicação de questionários aos moradores do CRV, verificação da adequação às normas e regulamentos vigentes relativos à iluminação natural e avaliação das variáveis dinâmicas da luz por meio do programa de simulação computacional APOLUX. A grande maioria dos usuários do CRV se diz satisfeita com a iluminação natural de suas unidades habitacionais (UH), bem como, de cada ambiente analisado. A satisfação tende a aumentar entre os moradores do quarto pavimento e onde foram adotadas cores claras no mobiliário, revelando as influências do entorno nos demais pavimentos e dos índices de reflexão das superfícies internas. As UH do CRV não atendem ao RTQ-R e ao Código de Obras de Santa Maria no que diz respeito aos vãos mínimos de iluminação. O Código de Obras não deixa claro que se deve considerar apenas o vão desobstruído das aberturas e a NBR 15575 sequer menciona vãos mínimos para a iluminação natural. Os resultados das simulações mostraram que os ambientes atenderam aos parâmetros presentes no método de simulação do RTQ-R e às iluminâncias mínimas presentes na NBR 15575. Porém, ao considerar parâmetros de 120 lux, a maior parte dos ambientes não teve resultado satisfatório, e se mostraram, em média, com desempenho intermediário de iluminação. Ainda, foi constatado o desenvolvimento de tarefas que exigem níveis maiores de iluminância do que àquelas normalmente realizadas em ambientes residenciais. As normas deveriam atender às necessidades específicas de cada edificação, e pecam ao não considerar a possibilidade de ocorrerem atividades incomuns em determinados ambientes residenciais. De forma geral, o estudo contribuiu com informações acerca do processo de avaliação do desempenho da luz natural de HIS, possibilitando identificar erros e acertos que foram determinantes na qualidade e conforto luminoso no interior das UH. Os resultados obtidos serviram como suporte para proposição de diretrizes de projeto e sugestões para a legislação empregada, de modo a qualificar o processo de produção e uso das HIS e proporcionar melhor qualidade de vida aos usuários.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de TecnologiaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia CivilUFSMBrasilEngenharia CivilAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessIluminação naturalHabitação de interesse socialNíveis de satisfaçãoSimulação computacionalNatural lightingSocial housingSatisfaction levelsComputer simulationCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA CIVILAvaliação da iluminação natural de habitação multifamiliar de interesse social: Conjunto Residencial Videiras, Santa Maria, RSNatural lighting evaluation of social multi-family housing: Videiras Residential Complex, Santa Maria, RSinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisGrigoletti, Giane de Camposhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/9725292275606192Correa, Celina Maria Brittohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/2741252699364572Santos, Joaquim Cesar Pizzutti doshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6591314076760539http://lattes.cnpq.br/5421337247519502Techio, Liliana Martins3001000000036001de16499-3baf-492b-8484-6e4d8f2f276871d00311-07e3-4a84-b0cc-cd2d2e695e9005a1e28b-ee3a-456b-86dc-316aebf2d61de75b92c9-d444-4263-85c5-15279c14165ereponame:Manancial - Repositório Digital da UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMCC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
