The present study if it projects her/it an attempt of demonstrating the consolidation of the limits of the Brazilian National State, in the Fronteira Oeste of Rio Grande do Sul with Uruguay in the first half of the century XIX (1801 - 1850), leaving of the appropriation and ownership of the lands devolutas allowed by the Portuguese Crown through the regime of sesmarias donations, motivating like this the fixation of stays for the accomplishment of your interest in fastening those limits.
