Resumo: The present study aims to analyze the nursing workload in the Anesthetic Recovery Room. It is characterized by a study with a mixed methodological approach, of the sequential explanatory type, performed in the Anesthetic Recovery Room of a university hospital. In the quantitative cross-sectional phase, all the patients were hospitalized from June to July 2016, to evaluate the nursing workload, through the application of the Nursing Activities Score, while they remained hospitalized at the unit. The quantitative data were obtained through the filling of forms, based on the nursing records in the patients' records. There were also 14 nursing workers from this unit who participated to obtain the qualitative data on the perception of workload, produced through a semi-structured interview, during the first half of 2017. The analysis of the quantitative data was performed in the SPSS Statistics program, version 21.0 for Windows, through descriptive and analytical statistics. The qualitative data were submitted to the content analysis based on the referential proposed by Bardin. All ethical principles relating to human research were respected, in accordance with Resolution 466/2012. The results indicated that of the 209 patients from the sample, 56% were male, 38% from the Surgical Unit, 52% classified as ASA II, in 74% of the patients the type of anesthesia performed was general anesthesia and the surgical specialty with a higher prevalence, with 24% being traumato-orthopedics and also, an average NAS of 57% was obtained. Considering the workers' perception of the workload, two categories were organized: Characteristics of the patients and situations that determine the workload, which presents the clinical conditions of the patients identified as intensifying the workload and Work Organization: characteristics that influence the workload, presenting the personnel sizing, the cooperation between the team as determining factors in the workload. It was concluded that, in the study scenario, the workload was high and the patient's time spent in the anesthetic recovery room was considered high, but did not obtain a statistical relation with the workload. In addition, workers perceive that the sector has special characteristics that influence in the sense of increasing the workload.

Caracteriza-se por um estudo com abordagem metodológica mista, do tipo explanatório sequencial, realizado na Sala de Recuperação Anestésica de um hospital universitário. Na etapa quantitativa, transversal, os participantes foram todos os pacientes internados no período de junho a julho de 2016, para avaliação da carga de trabalho de enfermagem, por meio da aplicação do Nursing Activities Score, enquanto permaneceram internados na unidade. Os dados quantitativos foram obtidos por meio do preenchimento de formulários, com base nos registros de enfermagem nos prontuários dos pacientes. Também participaram do estudo 14 trabalhadores de enfermagem dessa unidade, para obtenção dos dados qualitativos, sobre a percepção da carga de trabalho, produzidos por meio de entrevista semiestruturada, durante o primeiro semestre de 2017. A análise dos dados quantitativos realizou-se no programa SPSS Statistics versão 21.0 para Windows, por meio da estatística descritiva e analítica. Os dados qualitativos foram submetidos à análise de conteúdo com base no referencial proposto por Bardin. Foram respeitados todos os princípios éticos relativos à pesquisa com seres humanos, de acordo com a Resolução 466/2012. Os resultados apontaram que dos 209 pacientes da amostra, 56% eram do sexo masculino, 38% provenientes da Unidade Cirúrgica, 52% classificados como ASA II, em 74% dos pacientes o tipo de anestesia realizado foi a anestesia geral e a especialidade cirúrgica de maior prevalência, com 24% foi a traumato-ortopedia e ainda, obteve-se um NAS médio de 57%. Considerando a percepção dos trabalhadores frente à carga de trabalho foram organizadas duas categorias: Características dos pacientes e situações determinantes para a carga de trabalho, a qual apresenta as condições clínicas dos pacientes apontadas como intensificadoras da carga de trabalho e Organização do trabalho: características que influenciam na carga de trabalho, apresentando o dimensionamento de pessoal, a cooperação entre a equipe como fatores determinantes frente à carga de trabalho. Conclui-se que, no cenário do estudo, a carga de trabalho é alta e o tempo de permanência do paciente na sala de recuperação anestésica foi considerado elevado, porém, não obteve relação estatística com a carga de trabalho. Além disso, os trabalhadores percebem que o setor possui características especiais que influenciam no sentido de elevar a carga de trabalho.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências da SaúdePrograma de Pós-Graduação em EnfermagemUFSMBrasilEnfermagemAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCarga de trabalhoEnfermagemEnfermagem em pós-anestésicoSala de recuperaçãoSaúde do trabalhadorWorkloadNursingPostanesthesia nursingRecovery roomOccupational healthCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ENFERMAGEMCarga de trabalho de enfermagem em sala de recuperação anestésica: um estudo mistoNursing workload in anesthetic recovery room: a mixed studyinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisCamponogara, Silviamarhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/3418538910386427Dal Pai, Daianehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/5647966821704117Silva, Rosângela Marion dahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/2110092444567232http://lattes.cnpq.br/5057215464422012Pinheiro, Ana Lúcia Uberti400400000000600ffece66c-996c-4f29-a709-cc5b1ef71e9ef852f94b-5524-4d64-b9b6-ec662dd93d2cf1ede0a7-2e2a-42bb-8a52-51af979c49bbd42a8117-03c6-4f5a-8526-664205a84e5ereponame:Manancial - Repositório Digital da UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2018_PINHEIRO_ANA.pdfDIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2018_PINHEIRO_ANA.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf2054139http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/14705/1/DIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2018_PINHEIRO_ANA.pdf761d6c9b39c2cd19455b65932b19a5f0MD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
