Resumo: This thesis aimed to understand the processes of female empowerment present in the daily lives of women coffee growers who produce organic female coffee in the municipality of Poço Fundo (MG), as well as to identify the aspects of female empowerment in the dynamics of female work in family farming with focus on organic coffee farming. To this end, twelve in-depth interviews were carried out with the producers and three interviews with producers. The producers were linked to the women's group MOBI (Women Organized in Search of Equality), associated to the Cooperativa dos Agricultores Familiares de Poço Fundo and Region, COOPFAM. The research is based on three conceptual axes, namely, Family Agriculture, Gender and Female Empowerment. The study is qualitative, considering gender as an analytical category, through semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation. The interviewees took place in 2019, with the first contact taking place in March 2019 and the last in March 2020, thus completing twelve months of field research. The empirical context of the research is located in the municipality of Poço Fundo, in the south of Minas Gerais. Data saturation was used to define the number of participants in the interviews. The results showed that the empowerment of these coffee women happened through work and struggles to conquer political, economic, social and financial spaces and rights. Four variables were identified in relation to Empowerment that contribute to this group of women feeling empowered, they are; individual, financial, organizational, collective and/or community. The profiles of the interviews are very similar, since according to the saturation methodology, with ten interviewees the speeches and life stories have already started to be repeated. MOBI is the biggest channel of women in search of knowledge. If the woman is not going to be part of the cooperative, she can be part of the group, developing activities that she already carries out in her daily life, such as growing roses, making handicrafts, cultivating a vegetable garden, making homemade breads and cookies to sell at the organic fair. that the cooperative develops every week. There were new needs and women went in search of their political representation, today a woman from the MOBI group is the president. The sexual division of labor is very present in homes and also in the positions held in the cooperative. Family farming is the basis of the cooperative's coffee production, family succession is an important and very necessary issue according to the interviews. It is concluded that the cooperative is the means by which women seek their Empowerment and MOBI is where everything happens, where this Empowerment takes place.

Para ello, se realizaron quince entrevistas en profundidad a productoras vinculadas al grupo de mujeres MOBI (Mujeres Organizadas en Búsqueda de la Igualdad), asociado a la Cooperativa de Agricultores Familiares de Poço Fundo y Región COOPFAM. La investigación se sustenta en tres ejes conceptuales, a saber, Agricultura Familiar, Género y Empoderamiento Femenino. El estudio es de corte cualitativo considerando el género como categoría analítica, a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas y observación no participante. Los entrevistados tuvieron lugar en 2019, teniendo el primer contacto en marzo de 2019 y el último en marzo de 2020, completando así doce meses de investigación de campo. El contexto empírico de la investigación se ubica en el municipio de Poço Fundo, en el sur de Minas Gerais. Se utilizó la saturación de datos para definir el número de participantes en las entrevistas. Los resultados mostraron que el Empoderamiento de estas mujeres cafeteras llegó a través de su trabajo conquistando espacios y derechos, como el político, económico, social y financiero, que apuntaba a una mejor calidad de vida para todas sus familias y para la comunidad. Se identificó cuando las variables en relación al Empoderamiento que contribuyen a que este grupo de mujeres se sienta empoderado, son; individual, financiera, organizacional, colectiva y / o comunitaria. Según la inserción de las mujeres como cooperativistas, la visión de la cooperativa necesitaba cambiar, había nuevas necesidades y las mujeres buscaban su representación política, hoy una mujer del grupo MOBI es la presidenta. La división sexual del trabajo está muy presente en los hogares y también en los cargos ocupados en la cooperativa. La agricultura familiar es la base de la producción de café de la cooperativa, la sucesión familiar es un tema importante y muy necesario según las entrevistas. Tienen una identidad grupal muy bien definida y fortalecida, trayendo la propuesta de integrar nuevas mujeres que pertenecen al grupo MOBI y también producen café de mujeres. Por ello, desde que la mujer tomó conciencia de su poder y de su valor como persona, como mujer, como caficultora y como cooperativista, se han abierto nuevos espacios.Esta tese teve como objetivo compreender os processos de Empoderamento feminino presentes no cotidiano das mulheres cafeicultoras produtoras do café orgânico feminino do município de Poço Fundo (MG), bem como identificar quais são as vertentes do Empoderamento feminino na dinâmica do trabalho feminino na agricultura familiar com foco na cafeicultura orgânica. Para tanto, foram realizadas doze entrevistas em profundidade com as produtoras e três entrevistas com produtores. As produtoras eram vinculadas ao grupo de mulheres o MOBI (Mulheres Organizadas em Busca de Igualdade), associadas à Cooperativa dos Agricultores Familiares de Poço Fundo e Região a COOPFAM. A pesquisa se apoia em três eixos conceituais, quais sejam, Agricultura Familiar, Gênero e Empoderamento Feminino. O estudo é de corte qualitativo considerando gênero como categoria analítica, através de entrevistas semiestruturadas e de observação não participante. As entrevistadas aconteceram no ano de 2019, sendo que o primeiro contato aconteceu em março de 2019 e o ultimo em março de 2020, completando assim doze meses de pesquisa de campo. O contexto empírico da pesquisa localiza-se no município de Poço Fundo, no sul de Minas Gerais. Foi utilizado a saturação de dados para definir o número de participantes nas entrevistas. Os resultados mostraram que o Empoderamento dessas mulheres do café aconteceu através do trabalho e de lutas pela conquista de espaços e direitos políticos, econômicos, sociais e financeiros. Foi identificado quatro variáveis em relação ao Empoderamento que contribui para que esse grupo de mulheres se sinta com poder, são eles; individual, financeiro, organizacional, coletivo e/ou comunitário. Os perfis das entrevistas são bem semelhantes, uma vez que de acordo com a metodologia de saturação, com dez entrevistadas já começaram a se repetir os discursos e as histórias de vida. O MOBI é o maior canalizador de mulheres em busca de conhecimento. Se a mulher não for fazer parte da cooperativa, ela pode fazer parte do grupo, desenvolvendo atividades que ela já realiza no seu dia a dia, como cultivar rosas, fazer artesanato, cultivar horta, fazer pães e bolachas caseiras para vender na feira de orgânicos que a cooperativa desenvolve toda semana. Existiam novas necessidades e as mulheres foram em busca da sua representatividade política, hoje uma mulher do grupo MOBI é a presidente. A divisão sexual do trabalho é muito presente nos lares e também nos cargos ocupados na cooperativa. A agricultura familiar é à base da produção cafeeira da cooperativa, a sucessão familiar é uma questão importante e muito necessária de acordo com as entrevistas. Conclui-se que a cooperativa é o meio pela qual as mulheres buscam seu Empoderamento e o MOBI é onde tudo acontece, onde se concretiza este Empoderamento.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências RuraisPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Extensão RuralUFSMBrasilExtensão Rural e DesenvolvimentoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessFeminismoGêneroAgricultura familiarCafeicultura mineiraCooperativismoFeminismGenderFamily farmingCoffee growing in Minas GeraisCooperativesGéneroCultivo de café en Minas GeraisCooperativasCNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIAS::AGRONOMIA::EXTENSAO RURALEmpoderamento das mulheres do café feminino do grupo MOBI na COOPFAMEmpowerment of women in the female coffee of the MOBI group at COOPFAMEmpoderamiento de la mujer en el café femenino del grupo MOBI en COOPFAMinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisSouza, Renato Santos dehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/9373960566104931Guimarães, Gisele MartinsCosta, Cassiane daVillwock, Ana Paula SchervinskiWizniewsky, Carmen Rejane Floreshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6288103953808001Flaviano, Viviane50010060000760060060060060060060058283b5c-fbff-43f4-8363-81b29380ca766fb12151-4041-4c4d-8247-feee98f45d08fcde4a4c-e14e-4b14-ae8c-01dd5070021f7449e90d-21d6-4e50-a3ed-276e7e6b6a252bcac721-6cdb-42ef-adf2-6d94b8faef6489dbcff6-c842-4b54-a4ba-a2cc9b79541freponame:Manancial - Repositório Digital da UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMCC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
