Resumo: | Language is not unchangeable, but not many studies in speech pathology are related to linguistic variation. In different cities there is accent variation even in native people. This study has the purpose to verify how the acquisition of the archiphoneme /R/ occurs in coda (medial and final) position, Santa Maria and Sobradinho, two cities in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, present different accents, considering subjects with typical phonological development. Two samples were part of this research, 52 children from Sobradinho, with ages between 3:2 and 5:4, and the second sample, from Santa Maria, consisted of 60 children with ages between 2:6 and 5:0. The speech data collection was performed through the use of the instrument Child’s Phonological Assessment, and, as a complement, 36 pictures was used. The pictures emphasized the archiphoneme /R/ in coda position. The considered intervening variables were: age, sex, tonicity, preceding and following syllable context, number of syllables, grammatical class, and syllable and word position. The statistical program VARBRUL was used for the analysis, with significance level of 5%. In general, it was possible to verify that the variable age influenced the acquisition of the archiphoneme /R/ in coda, in both cities. The emergence and the acquisition of the variants occurred in different age groups. Besides, the intervening variables selected as statistically significant were different in each city, as well as the used repair strategies. So, it was possible to observe that different intervening variables influence the acquisition of the archiphoneme /R/ in coda, according to the variant which is used in each city. |

Em diferentes municípios pode haver uma variação no sotaque dos nativos de cada localidade. Este trabalho objetiva verificar como ocorre a aquisição do arquifonema /R/ na posição de coda (medial e final), em dois diferentes sotaques do Rio Grande do Sul (em Santa Maria e Sobradinho), em indivíduos com desenvolvimento fonológico típico. Esta pesquisa foi composta de duas amostras, a primeira do município de Sobradinho, constituída por 52 crianças, com idades entre 3:2 a 5:4, e a segunda amostra constituída por 60 crianças, com idades entre 2:6 a 5:0, do município de Santa Maria. A coleta de fala foi realizada mediante aplicação do instrumento AFC – Avaliação Fonológica da Criança, e utilizou-se como complemento 36 figuras que contêm o arquifonema /R/ na posição de coda. As variáveis intervenientes consideradas foram: idade, sexo, tonicidade, contexto silábico precedente, contexto silábico seguinte, número de sílabas, classe gramatical, posição na sílaba e na palavra. Utilizou-se o pacote computacional Varbrul, com nível de significância de 5%. De maneira geral, verificou-se que a variável idade influenciou no processo de aquisição do arquifonema /R/ em coda, em ambos os municípios, ocorrendo o surgimento e a aquisição das variantes em diferentes faixas etárias. Além disso, as variáveis intervenientes selecionadas como estatisticamente significantes foram distintas para cada localidade, bem como o uso das estratégias de reparo utilizadas em cada município. Assim, constatou-se que há diferenças nas variáveis intervenientes que influenciam a aquisição do arquifonema /R/ em coda, de acordo com a variante utilizada em cada município.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências da SaúdePrograma de Pós-Graduação em Distúrbios da Comunicação HumanaUFSMBrasilFonoaudiologiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessLinguagem infantilFonéticaLinguísticaFalaDesenvolvimento da linguagemChild languagePhoneticsLinguisticsSpeechLanguage developmentCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::FONOAUDIOLOGIAAquisição do arquifonema /R/ em coda por crianças de dois municípios do Rio Grande do SulAquisition of the archiphoneme /R/ in syllabic coda in children from two cities in Rio Grande do Sulinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisMezzomo, Carolina Lisbôahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/3084638267716841Donicht, Gabrielehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8926016516397508Mota, Helena Bollihttp://lattes.cnpq.br/3717425754253849http://lattes.cnpq.br/9294813911882500Lopes, Diéssica Zacarias Vargas4007000000036000e801583-bec8-426f-88ac-ac9b43459300bc94d3ef-0a00-40ef-8935-a11200dd8be874057d39-4780-4e90-b61c-94399b2b371af5346ee9-5b4d-405a-939a-20ede8bfa992reponame:Manancial - Repositório Digital da UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGDCH_2012_VARGAS_DIESSICA.pdfDIS_PPGDCH_2012_VARGAS_DIESSICA.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf2120369http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/18092/1/DIS_PPGDCH_2012_VARGAS_DIESSICA.pdfb7a84a546e131a6719d8a2baf99dbe1cMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
