Resumo: Objectives: to characterize Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy services offered by Supplementary Health System of a municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul that assists neurological rehabilitation, as well as to characterize adults with brain injury (BI) sequelae assisted by these services and also to analyze their satisfaction concerning healthcare services. Methodology: this is a descriptive and exploratory study with quantitative and qualitative analysis approach. The sample consisted of subjects with BI sequelae, aged over 18 years, who were assisted by rehabilitation services (Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and/or Occupational Therapy) in the Supplementary Health System between December 2016 and April 2017. Data collection occurred through the National Health Establishments Registration (CNES) followed by telephone contact with owners of healthcare institutions in order to identify adults with BI and, finally, contact with the subjects to perform a semi-structured interview, besides application of the Users’ Satisfaction Questionnaire and Brazilian Economic Classification Criteria (CCEB). Quantitative analysis of data was descriptive (mean, percentage and Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient) using Statistica 9.1 software, and qualitative analysis occurred through Content Analysis. Results: The search for services in CNES evidenced the existence of 53 clinics and offices for rehabilitation in Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Among them, 50 had active record and only eight participated in the study because they assisted adults with BI. Among the subjects with BI, nine had participated in the research, being predominant male (88.8%) and white (77.7%). The most frequent BI were Cerebral Vascular Accidents (CVA) [55.5%]; Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) accounted for 22.2%. The predominant sequelae were right hemiplegia (55.5%) and communication disorders (44.4%). As for economy class, 66.6% belonged to Class B2. Access to Physical Therapy predominated (100%); 22.22% were assisted by Speech Therapy and none by Occupational Therapy. With regard to users’ satisfaction, the majority consider themselves satisfied with the treatment proposed by professionals. Conclusion: It was verified a lack of services for healthcare of adults with BI, the absence of Occupational Therapy services and interdisciplinary services in Supplementary Health System in the city studied. Such a situation is worrying, since BI sequelae usually generate sensory, motor and communication limitations that could be assisted by Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Among the subjects studied, most affirm they are satisfied with the care provided. It is considered important to carry out more studies in the areas of Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy involving Supplementary Health System and healthcare with adults with BI.

Metodologia: Estudo de cunho descritivo e exploratório com análise de abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa. A amostra foi composta por sujeitos com sequelas de LC, com idade superior a 18 anos, acompanhados em serviços de reabilitação (Fisioterapia, Fonoaudiologia e/ou Terapia Ocupacional) na rede Suplementar de Saúde, entre dezembro de 2016 a abril de 2017. A coleta ocorreu por meio da consulta ao Cadastro Nacional de Estabelecimentos de Saúde (CNES), seguida de contato telefônico com proprietários dos serviços para identificação dos adultos com LC acompanhados e, por fim, contato com os sujeitos para realização de uma entrevista semiestruturada, aplicação do Questionário de Satisfação dos Usuários e do Critério de Classificação Econômica Brasil (CCEB). A análise quantitativa dos dados foi descritiva (média, porcentagem e Teste de Coeficiente de Correlação de Spearman) utilizando-se o Software Statistica 9.1., e a qualitativa por meio da Análise de Conteúdo. Resultados: A busca pelos serviços no CNES apontou a existência de 53 clínicas e consultórios destinados à reabilitação em Fisioterapia, Fonoaudiologia e Terapia Ocupacional. Desses, 50 estavam com registro ativo e somente oito participaram da pesquisa, por realizarem acompanhamento de adultos com LC. Quanto aos sujeitos com LC, contou-se com a participação de nove, sendo que predominou o sexo masculino (88,8%) e a cor branca (77,7%). As LC mais frequentes foram os Acidentes Vasculares Cerebrais (AVC) [55,5%]; os Traumatismo Crânio Encefálico (TCE) representaram 22,2%. A sequelas predominantes foram - hemiplegias à direita (55,5%) e distúrbios da comunicação (44,4%). Quanto à classe econômica, 66,6% pertenciam à Classe B2. O acesso à Fisioterapia predominou (100%); 22,22% realizavam acompanhamento em Fonoaudiologia e nenhum em Terapia Ocupacional. No que se refere à satisfação dos usuários, a maioria considera-se satisfeito com o tratamento proposto pelos profissionais. Conclusão: Constatou-se carência de serviços destinados ao cuidado de adultos com LC, a inexistência de serviços de Terapia Ocupacional e de serviços interdisciplinares, no Setor Suplementar de Saúde, do município pesquisado. Tal situação é preocupante, visto que geralmente as sequelas de LC geram limitações sensitivas, motoras e de comunicação possíveis de serem assistidas pela Fisioterapia, Fonoaudiologia e de Terapia Ocupacional. Dos sujeitos acompanhados, a maioria refere estar satisfeita com o atendimento prestado. Considera-se importante a realização de mais estudos envolvendo o Sistema Suplementar de Saúde e o cuidado junto a adultos com LC, nas áreas de Fisioterapia, Fonoaudiologia e Terapia Ocupacional.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências da SaúdePrograma de Pós-Graduação em Distúrbios da Comunicação HumanaUFSMBrasilFonoaudiologiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessServiços de saúdeFisioterapiaFonoaudiologiaTerapia ocupacionalReabilitaçãoSatisfação do pacienteCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::FONOAUDIOLOGIARede suplementar de reabilitação a adultos com lesões cerebrais do município de Santa Maria/RSSupplementary health system for rehabilitation to adults with cerebral injury in the municipality of Santa Maria/RSinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisFedosse, Elenirhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/7207062592880064Santos Filha, Valdete Alves Valentins doshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/3042191385044226http://lattes.cnpq.br/7952452022158086Machado, Mithielle de Araujo40070000000360070b8f0d8-a5de-4414-9471-cabfd03f7e6c431d74cd-33c9-4fca-9021-cb721d22cfa7cdf061c5-d494-444f-9780-1fc6e97c1a98reponame:Repositório Institucional Manancial UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGDCH_2017_MACHADO_MITHIELLE.pdfDIS_PPGDCH_2017_MACHADO_MITHIELLE.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf1794892http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/18863/1/DIS_PPGDCH_2017_MACHADO_MITHIELLE.pdfdf90825a0f5a245b8be93ce9a33c87dcMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
