Resumo: | Construction is one of the largest sectors of the economy by virtue of meeting basic demands. The main material the construction activities is Portland cement. It is known that its substitution by mineral additions provides gains regarding mechanical properties and reduction of environmental impacts of concrete. Among the inert additions most commonly used by the cement industry is ground limestone. Thus, seeking to develop structural concrete mixtures with high content of cement replacement by limestone filler, but also presenting mechanical performance similar to the usual characteristic resistances (20 to 50 MPa). The experimental program was developed with granulometrically optimized mixtures using the Emma software, binary mixtures of limestone and ternary limes of rice carcass ash chemically activated by calcium sulfate and calcium hydroxide. With substitution contents of up to 70% in relation to cement volume, the aim was to evaluate the mechanical properties, axial compression at 7, 28 and 91 days, traction by diametrical compression at 28 and 91 days, modulus of elasticity at 28 and 91 days and drying shrinkage at 7, 14, 28 and 56 days compared to a control mixture. The results showed that it is possible to use high strength limestone fillers, with significant strength gains in binary mixtures with 50% and 60% cement substitution. The addition of calcium sulfate increased axial compression strength in the advanced ages for the 70% substitution mixture. Calcium hydroxide enhanced the strength gain at the age of 28 days for the ternary mixture with rice husk ash when compared with the addition of calcium sulfate. With respect to drying shrinkage, all substitution mixtures had lower shrinkages than the control mixture. Through the study developed it is possible to reduce clinker consumption, contributing to the reduction of environmental impacts. |

O material principal as atividades da construção civil é o cimento Portland. Sabe-se que a sua substituição por adições minerais propicia ganhos com relação a propriedades mecânicas e redução de impactos ambientais do concreto. Entre as adições inertes mais utilizadas pela indústria cimenteira está o fíler calcário moído. Assim, buscando-se desenvolver misturas de concreto estrutural com elevado teor de substituição do cimento por fíler calcário, mas que também apresentassem desempenho mecânico semelhante as resistências características usuais (20 a 50 MPa). Desenvolveu-se o programa experimental com misturas granulometricamente otimizadas através do software Emma, de misturas binárias de fíler calcário e ternárias de fíler calcário com cinza de carca de arroz, ativadas quimicamente por sulfato de cálcio e hidróxido de cálcio. Com teores de substituição de até 70% em relação ao volume do cimento, buscou-se avaliar as propriedades mecânicas, compressão axial aos 7, 28 e 91 dias, tração por compressão diametral, aos 28 e 91 dias, módulo de elasticidade aos 28 e 91 dias e retração por secagem do concreto nas idades de 7, 14, 28 e 56 dias, comparados a uma mistura de controle. Os resultados evidenciaram que é possível a utilização de fíler calcário em altos teores, com ganhos de resistência significativos em misturas binárias com 50% e 60% de substituição do cimento. A adição de sulfato de cálcio propiciou elevação da resistência a compressão axial nas idades avançadas para a mistura com 70% de substituição. O hidróxido de cálcio potencializou o ganho de resistência na idade de 28 dias para a mistura ternária com cinza de casca de arroz, quando comparada com a adição de sulfato de cálcio. Em relação a retração por secagem, todas as misturas com substituições apresentaram retrações inferiores que a mistura de controle. Através do estudo desenvolvido é possível uma redução do consumo de clínquer, colaborando para a redução dos impactos ambientais.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de TecnologiaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia CivilUFSMBrasilEngenharia CivilAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAdições mineraisDurabilidadeConcreto estruturalEmpacotamento de partículasMineral additionsDurabilityStructural concreteParticle packingCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA CIVILAvaliação de propriedades físico-mecânicas de concretos com fíler calcário, em altos teores, cinza de casca de arroz e ativadoresEvaluation of physical-mechanical properties of high-lime concrete concretes, rice gray gray and activatorsinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisIsaia, Geraldo Cechellahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8260652949733370Lima, Rogerio Cattelan Antocheves dehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/5518587537986438Hoppe Filho, Juarezhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8692521256968834http://lattes.cnpq.br/1015995413129280Silva, Silvane Santos da3001000000036005d5ff349-6e1b-45f0-a3fc-dfb31b446dec115f20e5-f8b6-4673-8efe-aa9e9c5b716bfa862f86-7eda-4496-bf24-7a01627a8e9ca11aafd1-61d8-4a76-adf1-858f7f7146efreponame:Repositório Institucional Manancial UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGEC_2019_SILVA_SILVANE.pdfDIS_PPGEC_2019_SILVA_SILVANE.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf3045728http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/19811/1/DIS_PPGEC_2019_SILVA_SILVANE.pdf1c0010461a507f136f949280a6dbdf3dMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
