Resumo: Concerns about climate change have increased the search for more efficient means of transportation with reduced greenhouse gases emissions. A likely solution deal with emissions is through hybrid and purely electric vehicles, which has been reaching notoriety in the entire world. Among the factors that help the adoption of these vehicles are governmental actions, batteries autonomy, and charge station availability. Therefore, this work presents a DC fast charging station for electric vehicles. The proposed modular system aims to comply with international and national standards, with possibility of expansion and option for energy storage elements integration. In this way, the design is developed the design of an uncontrolled 12-pulse rectifier converter, which provides 618V DC bus. The direct current source is connected to charging points, which are composed of an interleaved buck converter. The average circuit model and digital control are developed and simulated. The connection of the two stages requires a capacitor and its value is determined by an impedance analysis in order to maintain system stability. In addition, main batteries features and their circuit equivalent model are presented to be used in simulations. Furthermore, a viability study analyzes how a battery bank can help a fast charge station to reduce the use of energy from the grid during peak hours.

Uma das formas de diminuir as emissões é pelo uso dos veículos híbridos e puramente elétricos, os quais vêm ganhando notoriedade no cenário mundial. Entre os fatores que auxiliam na expansão desses veículos estão os incentivos fiscais, o avanço na tecnologia de baterias e a disponibilidade de estações de recarga. Em vista disso, esse trabalho propõe uma estação de carregamento rápido CC para veículos elétricos. O sistema modular proposto visa atender as normas internacionais e nacionais, com a facilidade de sua expansão e opção para integração de elementos armazenadores de energia. Dessa maneira, é realizado o projeto do conversor retificador 12 pulsos não controlado, o qual fornecerá energia para o barramento CC de 618V. Nele são conectados os pontos de carregamento, os quais possuem um conversor abaixador intercalado. A modelagem por circuito médio do conversor, bem como, o controle digital são desenvolvidos e validados por simulação. A conexão dos dois estágios requer um capacitor, em que seu valor é determinado pela análise de impedâncias a fim de manter a estabilidade do sistema. Além disso, são apresentadas as características principais das baterias e o seu circuito equivalente ao modelo para uso em simulações.
