Resumo: The creation of the Minha Casa Minha Vida Program (MCMV) by the Brazilian government has boosted the construction of social housing projects to reduce the large housing shortage in Brazil. Ten years after the launch of MCMV, the quality of these buildings has been questioned. Daylighting, focus of this research, is one of the issues that must be considered to achieve a better quality in these houses, because it interferes in the user´s comfort and health, as well as improves the building energy efficiency. This research aimed to evaluate the availability of natural lighting in housing units (UHs) of the Conjunto Habitacional Jardim Ipês (CHJI) that is part of the MCMV Program. The research is based on Post Occupancy Assessment (APO) focusing on users’ opinion about natural light conditions in their homes, as well as evaluating the annual estimation of daylight (EALN) through computer simulations with the APOLUX program. As a result, it was found that the majority of respondents' opinion about natural light (LN) in their UHs points to this as bright. Respondents were also asked about the activities performed in their UHs and it was found that require higher levels of illuminance than the minimum recommended by NBR 15575 (60 lux). The UHs reached RTQ-R requirements and local regulations regarding the minimum illumination levels. The NBR 15575 does not mention illuminances minimum values for housing and the local regulation does not indicate window areas for daylight. The simulation results showed that the UHs reached the parameters indicated in the RTQ-R simulation method and the minimum illuminances present in NBR 15575. In addition, all the UH reached the 120 lux criterion. However, the UHs do not reached the criterion of illuminance levels below 2,000 lux, although the rules do not give maximum illuminance indexes. The regulations should consider activities that require a higher level of illuminance in housing, as well as maximum levels considering users' reports about the need to use blackout curtains to avoid direct solar radiation and ensure privacy. As a main conclusion, it is proposed, for the rules and regulations, a requirement related to the maximum illuminance level allowed in residential environments as being 2,000 lux. Additionally a rule to recommended values of specific illuminance levels for houses that contemplate several activities that users can perform in residential environments, considering the research´s social and economic context.

Após 10 anos do lançamento do MCMV, tem se questionado a qualidade dessas edificações. A iluminação natural, foco desta pesquisa, é um dos quesitos que devem ser considerados para alcançar melhor qualidade nessas habitações, pois interfere no conforto e na saúde dos usuários, além de melhorar a eficiência energética das edificações. O objetivo da pesquisa é avaliar a iluminação natural em unidades habitacionais (UH) do Conjunto Habitacional Jardim Ipês (CHJI) que se enquadra no Programa MCMV. O método de pesquisa baseia-se na Avaliação Pós-Ocupação (APO) focando na opinião dos usuários a respeito das condições de iluminação natural em suas moradias, bem como na avaliação da estimativa anual de luz natural (EALN) por meio de simulações computacionais com o programa APOLUX. Como resultados, verificou-se que a opinião da maioria dos respondentes em relação a Luz Natural (LN) em suas UH aponta esta como clara. Os respondentes também foram questionados quanto às tarefas exercidas em suas UH e verificou-se que são desempenhadas atividades que exigem índices mais alto de iluminância do que o mínimo preconizado pela NBR 15575 (60 lux). As UH atendem ao RTQ-R e ao Código de Obras de São Miguel do Oeste no tocante aos vãos mínimos de iluminação. A NBR 15575 não menciona dimensionamento mínimo dos vãos e o Código de Obras não considera o modelo da esquadria. Os resultados das simulações mostraram que as UH atendem aos parâmetros indicados no método de simulação do RTQ-R e as iluminâncias mínimas presentes na NBR 15575. Além disso, todas as UH atenderam ao critério de 120 lux. Porém, as UH não atendem ao critério de níveis de iluminância menores do que 2.000 lux, embora as normas não prevejam índices máximos de iluminância. Observa-se que as normas deveriam considerar atividades que demandam um nível maior de iluminância nos ambientes residenciais, bem como níveis máximos considerando os relatos dos usuários quanto a necessidade do uso de blackouts para evitar radiação solar direta e garantir privacidade. Como principal conclusão, propõe-se, para as normas e regulamentos, requisito relacionado com o nível de iluminância máximo admissível em ambientes residenciais como sendo 2.000 lux, além de normativa própria para valores recomendados de níveis de iluminância específicos para habitações que contemplem as diversas atividades que os moradores podem desempenhar nos ambientes residências, considerando o contexto social e econômico da pesquisa.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de TecnologiaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia CivilUFSMBrasilEngenharia CivilAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessIluminação naturalAvaliaçãoOpinião dos usuáriosAPOLUXDaylightingEvaluationBuilding occupantsCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA CIVILAvaliação da iluminação natural em habitação multifamiliar – conjunto habitacional Jardim IpêsDaylighting evalution in multi-family housing complex – conjunto habitacional Jardim Ipêsinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisGrigoletti, Giane de Camposhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/9725292275606192Claro, AndersonxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxCorrea, Celina Maria BrittoxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxScherer, Minéia Johannxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/4779219594343191Rohr, Franciele3001000000036001de16499-3baf-492b-8484-6e4d8f2f2768555382f5-9493-426e-8850-ffaa96648a3d933e4ca0-2a27-48d6-bb63-96bbe2b7994f05a1e28b-ee3a-456b-86dc-316aebf2d61d860337c3-aa90-4de3-953d-1c7f6abe558areponame:Manancial - Repositório Digital da UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGEC_2019_ROHR_FRANCIELE.pdfDIS_PPGEC_2019_ROHR_FRANCIELE.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf8579879http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/20709/1/DIS_PPGEC_2019_ROHR_FRANCIELE.pdf33401eb4604d237e28db5e04fadab8ffMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
